"🎬 Recently in Ms. Garner's Film 1 class at HHS, students watched the inspiring "Dead Poets Society." Embracing the film's spirit, they wrote heartfelt letters of appreciation to teachers and mentors, honing their skills in formal letter writing. The depth of emotion in these letters is truly moving.
Over 150 appreciation letters were either hand delivered or mailed to deserving recipients. Some students snapped a quick photo to share during their delivery. 💌
We don't think there's a better #selfie than one out of appreciation for someone. 🖤❤🏴☠️

🎉Spotlight on a Young Leader at Eugene Field School🎉
Mr. Vince, the beloved custodian at Eugene Field School, is known for his unwavering dedication and warm smile. He is more than just a staff member; he is a valued part of the school family. So, when he had to take some time off recently, the entire school felt his absence.
Enter Corey Cobb, a bright-eyed fourth grader determined to help. All students stepped up to help as needed, but Corey truly went above and beyond. The District maintenance team, brought in to fill Mr. Vince's big shoes were often impressed with Corey's initiative. They often joked, "I'm not sure why I'm here... Corey has it all figured out." His attention to detail and dedication were beyond what anyone expected from a fourth grader.
Yesterday in front of his peers and family, Corey was recognized for leading by example during Mr. Vince's absence. And, we are so excited that Mr. Vince is back now, too!❤ 🏴☠️
