Hannibal, MO – Oakwood Elementary School has been honored as a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. This award recognizes schools with outstanding academic performance or significant progress in closing achievement gaps among student groups.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools program, established in 1982, celebrates schools in two categories: Exemplary High Performing Schools and Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing Schools. Oakwood Elementary earned recognition for its outstanding performance and commitment to student success.
