Hannibal Public Schools is proud to announce the opening of bids for a student-constructed residence, located at 651 Jonathan Drive, Hannibal, Missouri. This home, built by our talented students attending HCTC, embodies our district's mission of serving our community to help our students Thrive.
Residence Details:
- Size & Layout: 2,200 sq. ft. main level, full basement, 3 bedrooms (including a master suite), 2 additional bathrooms, and a 2-car garage.
- Features: Great room, dining room/kitchen area, laundry room, deck, high-efficiency electric HVAC, natural gas fireplace, and vaulted ceiling.
- Construction: 2 x 4 walls with R-13 insulation, attic with R-38 cellulose insulation, and trussed roof.
- Kitchen: Flat-panel cabinets, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposer
- Flooring: Solid core vinyl flooring throughout the main floor.
- Exterior: Brick front, vinyl siding, and seeded front and back yards.
Bid Submission Details:
- Bid Deadline: December 13th, 2023, by 1:00 P.M. at the Board of Education Office.
- Minimum Bid: $400,000, with a $5,000 earnest money deposit required.
- Financial Requirement: Letter from a financial lender or proof of funds.
- Title and Payment: Hannibal School District and purchaser will split title fees. Payment to be made at Accurate Land Title Company, Hannibal, MO.
Additional Conditions:
- Landscaping Allowance: $1,000 for supplies, with labor provided by HCTC classes.
- Bid Acceptance: The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will select the most advantageous offer.
